Non è proprio filobus d'Italia ma su Trolleymotion questa bellissima notizia idealissimo per città medie e medio/grandi come Padova,Bologna,Verona,Parma etc...:
After successful test runs in 2011 electric minibuses will come into use on Citybus-routes 2A und 3A of the operator Wiener Linien. The so-called “ElectriCity buses“ will enter service here.
12 Siemens/Rampini Alé mini-buses have been ordered and so far two have been delivered. The others will follow by early 2013 in order to be able to operate a fully electric service in summer 2013. The new vehicles will be recharged at short stretches of overhead erected at the termini at Schwarzenbergplatz and Schottenring. Current collection is through a single arm pantograph which is raised and lowered by pressing a button. Rapid charging lasts a maximum of 15 minutes. The current feed to these short sections of overhead is through a connection with the existing tramway overhead. In addition the buses are recharged in slow mode overnight in the depot.
