The underground has been utterly underfunded and ignored for 40 years (Prior to Labour coming to power). This is so for any form of public transport or service. In the Eighties Mrs Thatcher sold most things to different private firms. Some managed to modernise and make infrastructure better, others like public transport, clearly not.
It is only the last 5 years or so that things are beginning to improve. In ogni caso saro' piu' contento quando troveranno un metodo per rinfrescare i tunnel e i treni d' estate, in quanto si crepa veramente dal caldo la sotto.
Quindi vivi a Roma? come si sta li? Novita' sulle future linee C e D ?
