VIENNA - METROPOLITANA

Il sistema attuale è composto da 5 linee ( www.urbanrail.net/eu/at/vienna/wien.htm ), ed i lavori per la sesta linea, la U5, sono recentemente iniziati ( www.thelocal.at/20140821/construction-begins-on-viennas-u5-sub... ).
E'particolare il fatto di trovare delle riviste a bordo (ovviamente, fissate sulla parete laterale del convoglio, accanto ai sediolini, per evitare furti).
Pur condividendone il nome, il logo (U) è leggermente differente dalla controparte tedesca.

Qualche scatto sulla U4, prima in superfice, e poi in sotterranea (Karlsplatz).

sono stato a Vienna a capodanno ma posso dire che la metro è perfetta!!!!

Between Längenfeldgasse and Karlsplatz a complete renovation incl. renewal of the tracks, took place. This lasted over the summer holidays and took 9 weeks.

Due to maintenance works between Karlsplatz and Landstrasse U4 is interrupted from 4 Feb to 12 Feb, 2023.
The western part of the line ended at Karlsplatz, the northern part at Landstraße, station Stadtpark was without service, there was no replacement service as U1 could be used instead.
