yes, today I'll begin Izmir's filobus.
There was 5 different model trolleybüs in izmir.
1-18 Man trolleybüs
19-38 and 43 fiat trolleybüs
39-41 fiat-wiberti articular trolleybüs
25 rectified büssing troleybüs(these ara original 6500 büssing bus. they rectified in eshot atelier to be trolleybüs
75 ansaldo fiat trolleybus(Istanbul's filobusses rectified in eshot atelier, I send you a picture number 114)


and all trolleybuses (I suppose in 1994) be send to aegan sea for to be fishnest
today there is not any pattern fromIzmir and Istanbul trolleybuses

The Izmir trolleybus is a Fiat 2411 with Cansa self-supporting body, a model which was very popular in the Fifties and Sixties all around Italy. It was the lenghtened version of Fiat 2401 model; it derivated from Fiat 401 and 411 bus models (the "2" at the beginning stands for "trolleybus"). 401, 405 and 411 buses derived from the well-known 682 truck. Last Italian units were put out of service in late Eighties. A very small batch of 2401 and 2411 was bodied by other bodybuilders than Cansa, such as Scall and Viberti. Cansa was actually part of Fiat group; it built all original versions of Fiat buses from the late Forties to late Sixties. In 1966 about Cansa name switched to "Fiat Cameri" (Cameri is the little town north from Novara where Cansa had its premises). Cameri plant shut down in late Seventies, when a new plant in Valle Ufita, near Avellino, was open.

PS: If I had not misunderstood what you have written, in 1992 Izmir administration rebuilt 75 former Istanbul trolleybuses and in 1994 it splashed them in the Aegean sea. It is unbelivable!

yes you are right gliz. that midibus is turkey production magirus-deutz bus but I dont know manufacturer otoyol is or is not.

and there is a different magirus model in turkey. Its turkish name is Dolmus or minibus. If you want its picture, I can send you

I saw that a friend of mine from a turkish forum, Yilmaz, is already here with you. His presence attracks me into forum with your acceptence.

I am working in Parigi for a french group as IT Director which exists also in Italia. Allora I can read and understand italiano up to some level. Poiché sono francofono je peux écrire in francese evidemente.

Public transportation systems and equipments, automotive are my interest areas like many members of this forums, wchich will be my fitfh one!

Finalmente, the small cream and green bus is a Magirüs produced by Otokar, not Otoyol. In fact all of them was/are the companies of the same group.

Büssings produced by Otoyol were the U47D's. Some picture of them were already posted by Yilmaz.
