Vienna . effects of a demonstration

On 20.1.22, there was a demonstration on the Ring. Line 2 was affected, so many trams ran through Josefstädter Straße to the underground station of the same name in a short time. There, some trams turned around, others did the same at Johann-Nepomuk-Berger-Platz, some took their usual route to Dornbach.

Line 33 diverted

During the semester break in Vienna, line 43 was shortened and line 44 was discontinued. Instead of the latter, line 33 ran to Ottakring. This due to construction works on new underground line U5.

Badner Bahn with new trainsets
Since Dec. 27th, 2022 Badner Bahn, a light rail between Vienna and the city of Baden, some 25 km to the south, are in service.
